Seine Arbeiten sind ebenso Instinkt getrieben, wie sie durchdacht sind. Um in der Wahl seines Materials frei zu sein, hinterfragt der Künstler die Regeln um sie. Ihm ist es wichtig, nicht zu werten. Öl ist bei ihm kein hochwertigeres Material als die Tinte eines Kugelschreibers. Das sieht man seinen Gemälden und Installationen an. Sie sind frei von jeglichen Konventionen. Dem Künstler gelingen dadurch Werke, die unbeschwert wirken und sich trotzdem ernsten Themen widmen. Einvernehmliche Auseinandersetzungen zum Beispiel.

Vincent Krüger wurde 1987 in Gengenbach geboren. Obwohl er sein ganzes Leben von Kunst umgeben war, entschied er sich erst mit 29, Malerei an der Kunstakademie in Karlsruhe zu studieren. Es sei das Ergebnis eines natürlichen Prozesses gewesen, sagt der 35-Jährige.

His works are just as instinct-driven as they are well thought-out. In order to be free in his choice of material, the artist questions the rules around them. It is important to him not to judge.
